Example below:

1. Generate Monthly Sequence Number

   When First Invoice will be generated for Journal it will set a monthly sequence  [SHORTCODE/YEAR/MONTH/NUMBER]

2. After confirming the invoice it will keep/remember the last sequence.

3. After the change of the month, it will be allowed to Reset the sequence. 

2. Generate Yearly Sequence Number

1. When First Invoice will be generated for Journal it will set a monthly sequence to replace with [SHORTCODE/YEAR/NUMBER]

2. It will allow you to edit the sequence number before confirming the invoice.

3. After confirming the invoice it will keep/remember the sequence for yearly.

4. After the change of the year, it will be allowed to Reset the sequence.

3. Resequence From Monthly Generated Sequence to Yearly Sequence

1. After confirming the first invoice it will keep the sequence number for next month.

2. Allowed to resequence it for yearly from next month if you want to change.

4. Resequence Invoice from POPUP

1. Allowed to set custom sequence from selected invoice/journal entries.

2. It will keep same sequence after change for new generating invoice

3. It’s also allowed to replace monthly invoice sequence to yearly sequence and yearly invoice sequence to monthly invoice sequence based on your business accounting sequence.

4. Also allowed to applied custom Sequence Short code / custom sequence number
